Australian Government article on FPC and greenhouse gas reduction at BHP Billiton's Mount Keith Operations
Saturday, March 1, 2008
The Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts for the Australian government published an article in their autumn 2008 energy report on FPC and its ability to reduce greenhouse gases. The article states that SAE test protocols showed "efficiency gains of 5 to 9 per cent due to adding ferrous picrate, with 95 per cent confidence." Ferrous picrate is the active ingredient in FPC. The article also discusses BHP Billiton's Mount Keith operations in Western Australia, which uses FPC to reduce their carbon footprint.
